Zidane says NOTHING and still gets it WRONG on Barcelona!! 0

Luis Enrique and the Barcelona players will be under no illusion that they are through to the semi-finals of the Champions League just yet. But having today´s second leg at the Nou Camp and a 3-1 lead over PSG from the first leg at the Stade de France makes us clear favourites.

PSG need to score at least three times tonight but they do have a couple of key players back in the form of the former Barca striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and midfield maestro Marco Verratti. And we saw from the previous round against Chelsea that the French champions are capable of causing an upset, so we don´t really need the Real Madrid assistant Zinedine Zidane to tell us that PSG could possibly go through, as reported by ESPN.

If PSG want Pedro, Barcelona should do swap deal for Thiago Silva 1

There is a transfer rumour going around about Barcelona being contacted by the French champions PSG over a possible £40 million offer for our Spanish international striker and winger Pedro Rodriguez Ledesma, commonly known by his first name.

The Barca president Sandro Rosell has denied that any offer has been made, but that does not mean that PSG are not interested. If there is firm interest from PSG, it might just be the only way in which Barca could finally get their main transfer target of the summer.

As Chelsea want 50m for Luiz, Barcelona will not sign anyone 0

There is no secret that Barcelona have been hoping to sign a top quality centre back this summer. Faqns and football reporters thought that the problems of last season showed clearly that the Spanish champions were badly in need of another central defender this season, but the new manager Tata Martino does not seem to agree on the seriousness of the need.

Barcelona to offer Chelsea €30m for David Luiz? 0

It seems as though Barcelona may have finally given up on the priority transfer target Thiago Silva. Having been unable to persuade the French champions PSG to do business, Barcelona cannot afford to simply blow them away with a massive offer. For one thing, Barca have not got that much to play with after the signing of Neymar from Santos and for another, PSG are loaded with money already.

Marquinhos in Paris means Barcelona will sign Silva despite PSG Messi threats 0

Whenever you read a transfer rumour about Lionel Messi possibly leaving, you can pretty much discard it as nonsense. Not only does the Argentinean international have a release clause of over £200 million, he loves the club and does not want to play for anyone else, except perhaps his hometown Argentinean club at the end of his career.

So when the owner of PSG, super rich though he may be, threatens to sign Messi if Barcelona continue their pursuit of the Brazilian central defender Thiago Silva, there is really no need to worry. Sheikh Nasser Al-Khelaifi can certainly afford to sign Messi, but would Messi want to play in the French league?

Marquinhos to help Barcelona by letting PSG replace Silva 0

Barcelona have been tentatively linked with the young Brazilian centre back Marquinhos. The 19-year old has only played one season in Serie A for Roma, but there are a number of bog clubs interested in him. He is certainly not the first choice of Tito Vilanova, but he could end up being very important for Barcelona this summer, because he might just make it possible for Barca to get the player they really want.

Barcelona to miss out on another defensive transfer target? 0

I know there is plenty of time before Barcelona start their campaign to win La Liga for the 5th time in six years, against Levant at the Nou Camp on Sunday August 18th. Even after that there will be another couple of weeks to complete any more transfer business, but the search for the top quality central defender that the club needs is beginning to look a bit desperate.

Barcelona ready to break the bank for Silva or Luiz 1

Despite being one of the biggest clubs in the world, FC Barcelona are not like their fierce La Liga rivals Real Madrid in being able to spend ridiculous and seemingly limitless amounts of money to complete the transfer of any and all transfers they fancy.

Having now signed Neymar and sold David Villa to Atletico Madrid for just a couple of million, there is not a great deal of money available to Tito Vilanova. The manager is desperate for another top quality central defender, though, as the age and recent injury problems of the club captain Carles Puyol means he cannot be relied on throughout the season.
